为什么修习瑜伽,是个太大的话题。但有时话题越大,反而越值得探讨。因为太多不同角度和答案,聊起来才有共鸣,有惊喜。


  我想其中很大一个原因,是人类对美的永恒追求吧。一种超然的,宁静的,充盈在身心灵各个层面的,时空凝注般的永恒之美。


  我感兴趣搜集些,借以一瞥这种美的存在。不为励志,只为细细地品鉴一番。


  没错,瑜伽可以将凌厉肃杀的“杀猪刀”,变得缓慢,精细,优雅。


  是谁,83岁还能面无惧色地挑战世纪天后Madonna 20岁时的《like a virgin》(宛若处女);86岁还能驰骋在各大秀场,为Vogue,Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce and Gabbana等担任模特…她是“祖母级”超模Daphne Selfe.

  


60多年模特生涯,日收入过1000英镑。她拒绝整容,认为打肉毒是浪费钱,认为岁月带给女性的自然之美也可光彩照人。

  


80岁的“处女范儿”。

当问到所谓秘诀时,她说:

“I drink lots of water and eats masses of salad, fruit and fish.

俺喝大量的水,狂吃沙拉,水果,和鱼肉;

I enjoy chocolate, cakes and buns, but not every day.

俺也馋巧克力,蛋糕和小面包,但不是每天吃。

I try to sleep seven hours a night and use very little make-up, apart from tinted moisturiser.

每晚睡7小时,很少用化妆品,除了润色霜。(相当于有色隔离霜)

I exercise regularly, too, usually ten minutes a day on my exercise bike, plus yoga to keep me supple.

俺经常运动,每天十分钟室内单车,另外就是瑜伽,使身体灵活。

(与此同时中国大妈们还在致力以广场舞征服世界…)


I’ve never considered plastic surgery, but often young models ask me what to do about a tiny wrinkle they think they have. I tell them it is part of growing up and to leave it alone.”

俺从不考虑整容手术,当年轻妹子向俺哭诉那一丁点儿小皱纹时,俺就告诉他们,早晚会有的,表管它。

还有最近达奶奶刚为Jean Paul Gaultier2014秋冬走秀不慎摔倒后,手拿高跟鞋光脚谢幕的笑容

  


另外有个别人说是她但我一看就知道气质差远了但看在也很卖力的份上我还是也要分享一下

  


  瑜伽的修习绝不终止于80岁。

维持自信的秘诀是:“珍爱健康每一天。”

Yourbody is your instrument, and you have to take beautiful care of it.

身体是你的工具,你需要美美滴照顾它(难道是bountiful…whatever)

I do one hour of yoga and walk for 30 minutes every day.

俺每天练一小时瑜伽,走三十分钟。

You really enjoy life a lot more if you're healthy.
